Full Name: Kirsty Hancock
Professions: GHN Sponsored Athlete | Regional & National IBFA Bikini Competitor | Personal Trainer | Prison Officer
Bio: Kirsty is based in Glasgow, is a certified Personal Trainer, Pharmacy Technician full time working mother of one who is progressing through a career in the Prison Service.
Kirsty is a IBFA Team Great Britain bikini athlete, with a few competitions planned in 2021 under other federations. "I'm striving to gain that pro card."
Kirst first competed in 2019 where she gained a regional British first place. Due to coming in far too lean and being moved up a category, Kirsty gained a British 4th in the toned category.
"I am also a pastry chef! Baking being one of the things i simply love to do, developing new recipes that are macro-friendly and fit for both prep and off season!"
"Prior to the training style I have adapted now i used to kickbox and practiced Muay Thai, competing for local organizations. I started my journey in aesthetics when i joined the custodial service, initially training for strength but through friends in the bodybuilding industry developed a love for sculpting my body to compete. Focusing on competing got me through a really rough patch in my life where i suffered badly from an eating disorder called Bulimia. Training and a goal helped me find my inner self and channel everything through controlled aggression in my workouts. Having being recovered for over 4 years i now help and peer mentor those whom are currently suffering and in recovery in my spare time."
Away from the gym Kirsty love's hillwalking with her American bulldog, Mia. "We can often be found conquering Munros on my days off!"
Kirsty's aim in the future is to develop her own clean eating recipe book suitable for those on and off season and put in place an organisation/charity which helps aid those with eating disorders in the sporting industry.
Kirsty has followed the development of GHN for some time now, and is very excited to have the opportunity to be part of the team & use the high quality products to help her achieve physically.
"I am super excited to be working alongside GHN and cannot wait to see what we can achieve all together."
