GHN sponsored athlete & professional cricketer Jacques Snyman had a day to remember when broke the Lancashire Leagues highest ever individual score.
The Protea's batsman smashed 269 not out from just the 139 balls faced for Greenmount Cricket Club vs Accrington Cricket Club, beating the previous highest score of 219 not out. His innings contained a colossal 28 four's and 15 sixes.
This is not Jacques first record innings to date. In November 2020 he blitzed his way to the fastest South African 4-Day Series hundred in history. Snyman scored a domineering 78-ball 109 on Day 1 of the 4-Day Series game against the Warriors. His century came in 71 balls, setting the record for the fastest century in South African 4-Day Series history.
