GHN sponsored athlete & professional footballer Tom Peers has signed for National League North side Curzon Ashton FC from Altrincham FC after 16 appearances in the National League & FA Cup. The 26-year old returns to Tameside after his 1 month loan spell with the North Manchester based team earlier this year which has seen him score 3 goals in 5 appearances thus far.
During his Altrincham FC career that began with a Northern Premier League debut against Stafford Rangers in August 2017 and included 148 appearances during the course of two stints at The J.Davidson Stadium, Tom scored a total of 33 goals.
After signing for an undisclosed fee Tom said ”Im Really excited to be back, I really enjoyed my time on loan… and when the opportunity came to come to Curzon permanently, I thought it was the right time.”
