Bio: Mark is a father of 3 children. He has been a police officer for the past 24 years, currently working in a specialist role. Mark has always been an active person and has been into weight training for the past 25 years. Until recently it was just something Mark looked to do to keep fit and in good shape, which is particularly important for his job. However, at the end of 2018 Mark decided to find himself a coach with the intention of improving his condition for a gym photoshoot a few months later.
"As I progressed I loved the improvements and realised what could be achieved with the right dedication" Mark then decided to enter the Pure Elite fitness model show last summer, where he came away with 4 trophies, 2 of which were class wins in the over 35's Fitness Model & Tattoo Muscle, Mark was awarded his Pure Elite pro card for these results.
This success spurred Mark on for a second show in the autumn. NFMUK, where he won 2 categories, one 2nd place and recieved another pro card for this federation. Mark has small regret that he decided to start competing at the age of 43, but is determined to make up for lost time and prove that age is just a number. "I’m very excited with the prospect of working with GHN and bringing a better physical package to the competitive stage in 2020 and hopefully more success".
