GHN sponsored athlete and Yorkshire CCC batsman Dawid Malan has been included in the England Ashes squad for the 2021/2022 Ashes series beginning on the 8th of December in Brisbane.
In his first County cricket appearance for Yorkshire CCC, Dawid made a spectacular 199 in the County Championship and was recalled to the England Test Team this summer, making an immediate impact with a elegant 70 in the 1st innings of the 3rd test vs India.
The past 18 months have been exceptional for the stylish left-handed batsman who has risen to the top of the ICC T20 International batting rankings. In 2021 Dawid has represented The Kings X1 Punjab in this years IPL. He represented Trent Rockets in the inaugural Hundred competition and has been part of England's white ball team for the duration of the 2021 season. This has seen him rewarded with a ECB contract for the next 12 months.
